Opening Party: OutOfOffice Stuttgart
There is no bad weather when great guests celebrate your new location enthusiastically: The Stuttgart OutOfOffice opening fell slightly into the water from a meteorological point of view, but the atmosphere and mood were not gray and gloomy at all, but splendid and sunny like the beach zone in our newest location in the heart of Stuttgart's historic old town. It was officially inaugurated in mid-September and everyone came: Family, friends, business partners, the complete German OutOfOffice crew and various media. And even die-hard Stuttgart residents who have known their city for decades were impressed by the new views to be enjoyed on this previously unknown rooftop terrace.
The building at Am Fruchtkasten 3, formerly the home of Commerzbank, underwent core renovation in recent months before the VON M architectural firm (architects Dennis Müller and Isabell Vogel) was able to begin with the interior fittings and design - coordinated with the ideas of OutOfOffice founders Chiara Oliva and Georg Sauter. The theme for Stuttgart was: A studio! After the first glasses of sparkling wine (or the first fine gin and tonics selected by Stuttgart's gin luminary Benjamin Kieninger) and a first Swabian basic supply in the form of Maultaschen with potato salad in a glass, the founding duo once again explained the idea and spirit of OutOfOffice and what distinguishes the latest OOO addition in the capital of Baden-Württemberg.
Guests have two large meeting rooms at their disposal, equipped with state-of-the-art technology, one of them in the style of an archaic classroom. The backflash back to school days was allowed to generate all sorts of shenanigans, here in the form of bubbling creativity - brainstorming with a difference. In the jungle, on the other hand, you can retreat alone, in pairs or as a mini-group, just as you can settle down in the comfortable leather armchairs in the living room or beach chairs on the beach after exhausting lectures, discourses. If your head is on fire, you can do a little workout in the sports corner - or simply go upstairs to the roof terrace and air it out. By the way: The roof terrace offers a magnificent view over Stuttgart's city center, even at sub-zero temperatures, thanks to the wonderful and permanently warm winter garden (plant concept by Miriam Köpf / Phillis Plant Installations).
OutOfOffice claim is: meet.create.play. The guests promptly internalized this principle on the opening evening: In all areas, people got to know each other and made new contacts to the sound of singer & songwriter Ben Jakob and DJ Thorsten W. (meet), laughed a lot and took pictures with each other (create), and the bar was heavily frequented and toasted non-stop (play). And despite the rather low summer temperatures, the evening was enjoyed intensively on the roof terrace and continued to party under the umbrellas. Together it is always nicer and much easier. And together with the Stuttgart creative force, OutOfOffice wants to become a very special place in 0711. It's just a shame that there's no bedroom, because as is often the case with our other locations, the phrase "You'd like to move right in here" was promptly uttered at the Stuttgart opening.
